This week most of the grades worked on drawing the most adorable Cozy Winter Animals. We worked step by step to get some of the proportions correct, and then I set them free to turn the basic shapes into whatever animal their minds could come up with. I love the creativity that emerged within the details; the clothing choices, the patterns, backgrounds, and expressions make me so happy. Below you can see a sampling from 4th and 5th grade classes who are working on XL drawings that we will paint next week.

Below you will see a sampling from our 3rd grade artists. They are all just too cute, and I cannot wait to see how they look with color next week.

Kindergarten and 1st grade are working on gum ball wreaths. They made pretty colored circles using tempera paint and tried their hardest to fill the wreath shape on their papers. Next week we will add details and bows.
