K and 1st grade worked hard drawing cities, adding lots of details, and coloring them uniquely. We then painted the skys in beautiful sunset stripes. Every grade made a Kindness quilt square to be shared at the next lions den. When it comes to choice art we need to provide mini lessons called "skill builders" to ensure the students are learning valuable techniques that they can apply when creating their artworks throughout the school year.
