Desserts, Pinecones, Cozy Bears & Art Club

4th & 3rd Grade was working on drawing realistic pies or desserts with a lot of detail in their backgrounds. I love seeing the ways they differentiate their artworks from each other.

5th Grade is working on Pinecones! They took the challenge head on and started some beautiful pinecone sketches that they will shade/color next time I see them.

1st, & 2nd are working on these cozy, sleepy bears in blankets. They are so adorable and we worked hard on thinking about what interests our bear might have to include in our quilt details.

AR CLUB had a blast making a HUGE MESS of my printmaking supplies and experimenting with stencils and textures on their prints. It was so much fun!

While they were waiting to start printmaking they made pies as well, and could paint them if they decided to. I love this students little collection of Art Club creations.
