As a reminder Dot Day is Monday September 15 - you may want to start working on your Dot Day outfits over the weekend.
For our second week in the Art Studio the K-1 grades applied a second round of dots and circles to their dot day artwork. They had access to different stations and a variety of materials and the goal was to try and cover every bit of their white paper if possible. They are learning the routine quickly on how to rotate stations and keep the art room clean. The outcomes are incredible! See a selection of them below.

Our grades 3-5 finished their Peace sign artworks for Dot Day by using the Drawing Center art supplies to decorate their backgrounds. The goal was for them to look unique to them as an artist so it is easy to identify theirs when they are all hung up covering the halls of Jane Ryan. These kids put their hearts into it and you can tell!

It was so great to meet so many of you last night at back to school night. Thank you for encouraging your kids in the art room and at home - it was a very cool thing to hear from you just how many of your kids love my class. Have a great weekend everyone!
