Dot Day Prep!

This week all the students worked hard on their dot day art! Many grades had centers where they added interesting dots to their artwork using a variety of materials at each table. The results are so dynamic!

5th and 4th grade worked on their value and shading skills when creating these beautiful spheres! This is a very big skill for these kids and they tackled it head on.

In some grades we created swirly backgrounds that we layered interesting circles on top of.

Don't forget that Dot Day is next Friday September 13! All the kids where dots and it is such an important day for the school, we celebrate the idea of making your mark wherever you go. See you next week!
