It was a little risky but I just knew these landscapes could use another layer to bring them to life. This week the kids used oil pastels to add texture and increased depth. We just created a new art hanging spot in the school by the main office and I cannot wait to get these up for all to see.

FIRST GRADE! Can you believe the shading quality on these spooky pumpkins? These kids used one black crayon to create these little pumpkins with all the different values of gray and black.

Second grade worked on some skeletons inspired by the movie Coco. I wanted their skeletons to have room for individuality and the way those (Dia De Los Muertos) skeletons are decorated and have accessories was just right for these second graders to express themselves.
