Galaxy Paintings

Most grades got to make galaxy paintings this week. It was a huge messy hit! They focused on texture and color blending. They also had to create some sort of movement across their page. These smaller ones are from first, second, and third grade. The energy in the room while we were making these was so exciting, I was thrilled with the results.

Fourth and Fifth grade worked on a much larger scale. These galaxy paintings will be the background for their gemstones that they painted last week. We will put them together next week!
