Warm Winter Art

5th grade continues to work on their gorgeous pinecones. The kids are really embracing the complexity of this assignment. I am thrilled with the detail applied to the shading.

One student finished completely including a vibrant background to contrast the earthy vibe of the pinecone.

K worked on their alphabets and added watercolor paint for their backgrounds.

1st & 2nd Grade worked on using a paintbrush to their advantage to help them paint thing branch ends and even thinner pine needles. We will add snow to these beauties next week.

2nd grade did finish up their snuggle bears if they had time with a nice frame!

Art Club made these beautiful winter landscapes with aurora borealis lighting in the backgrounds.
